VÖGELE’s AB 200 Is Its Smallest Screed For The Narrowest Jobs
Paving equipment manufacturer VÖGELE has released its narrowest extending screed yet. The new AB 200 has a basic width of just 3.6 feet (1.1 meter) for small urban construction projects, landscaping, railway, and milled track work.
“We develop our products in close collaboration with our customers and claim to stock the ideal solution for every requirement,” says VÖGELE Product Manager Bastian Fleischer. “Having launched our largest screed, the SB 350, at bauma 2019, we are now rounding off the small end of our range with the AB 200.”
Extendable & Maneuverable
The new VÖGELE screed comes in two compaction variants. The AB 200 V includes vibrators and is compatible with the company’s SUPER 700(i) Mini Class paver. Meanwhile, the AB 200 TV is equipped with both a tamper and vibrators for use with the SUPER 800(i) paver.
The AB 200 can be narrowed down to a paving width of just 1.6 ft (0.5 m) using a special width reduction system. It can also hydraulically extend up to 6.6 ft (2 m) and reach a paving width of up to 10.5 ft (3.2 m) with the addition of bolt-on extensions.
