2020 RexCon Mobile 5 Central-Mix Concrete Plant — Turnkey, Production-Ready
The RexCon Mobile 5 is one of the most respected portable batch plants in the North American concrete market, and this is a 2020 build — only six years old, with a complete turnkey configuration that doesn't leave you piecing together a working plant from third-party iron.
This isn't a stripped Mobile 5. The original RexCon sales order ran the plant out the factory door with the full material-handling package, two cement silos, a 7,500-CFM central dust collector, and a finished operator's container. It's a plant you stand up at a yard or a project site and start producing.

Trane air-cooled chiller — available
A Trane packaged air-cooled chiller is set up alongside the plant and available. Not part of RexCon's original Sales Order #2885 (added by the previous owner after factory delivery), and not strictly required to operate the plant. Serious buyers can ask their Closner salesman for current details on the chiller.
Context for operators less familiar: chilled mix water is what allows spec-sensitive hot-weather concrete pours — Texas, Gulf Coast, and Arizona summers in particular — to stay inside DOT and engineer-specified placement temperatures.
Why this Mobile 5
Recent build year (2020). Most used Mobile 5s on the resale market are 10+ years old. This unit is six.
Two cement silos = 775 BBL total. Materially more cement-on-site capacity than the typical single-silo Mobile 5 — fewer load-out trips, longer pours without resupply.
Turnkey material handling. The Marco conveyors and Model 920 shovel hoppers are part of the plant. You don't bid a separate aggregate-handling project on top of the plant purchase.
Mixer-truck clearance built in. 8'4" risers were factory-spec'd, so you're discharging directly into trucks at grade — no temporary ramps, no dump pit.
Self-contained mobility. Designed to be relocated yard-to-yard or project-to-project without the foundation work a fixed plant requires.
Parts and service network. RexCon (Burlington, WI) is a long-tenured American manufacturer with a working dealer network and a real parts counter. Nothing about this plant is orphaned.
Condition and current status
Original RexCon Sales Order #2885 (released 07/23/2020) on file at Closner Equipment Co. and available for qualified-buyer review.
The plant is currently operational and is set up at the original purchaser's site in the Dallas / Fort Worth / Longview corridor. That means qualified buyers can do something most used-iron purchases don't allow: see the plant running before they commit. Hours, batch count, and maintenance history available from the assigned salesman.
Photos in this listing reflect actual current condition — no stock images, no dressed-up brochure shots.
Asking price
$699,000 for the plant as-configured . New replacement cost on a comparable 2025-build Mobile 5 with this configuration is well over seven figures; the original 2020 invoice on this exact unit is available to qualified buyers for additional context.
Trane chiller available — discuss with the assigned salesman.
