    Putzmeister BSF36Z.12H Truck-Mounted Concrete Pump

    Putzmeister’s Concrete equipment lineup features truck- and crawler-mounted and trailer towable concrete boom pumps, plus concrete mixers, placing systems, surge hoppers, and technology innovations. The Telebelts lineup of telescopic belt conveyors includes truck-mounted, semi-trailer, and tower options for dam, wind turbine foundation, backfilling, warehouse slab, and other projects, while the Shotcrete lineup includes Thom-Katt trailer pumps and Allentown-branded mixers and nozzle carriers, combination mixer-pumps, and gunning machines.

    Putzmeister’s Mortar machines include pumps for self-leveling compounds, self-leveling screed pumps, and plaster machines. The Tunneling and Mining lineups feature equipment for micropile injections, shotcreting, concrete distribution, low-profile concrete mixing, and mineral processing, plus a robotic arm for explosive charging. Elsewhere, the company’s telemetry solution featuring a Machine Cockpit interface is now a standard inclusion with all its truck-mounted concrete boom pumps, which range from the 20Z-Meter with 63.8-foot (19.5-meter) vertical boom reach to the 63Z-Meter with 203.7-foot (62.1-meter) reach.

    Breaking Records, Innovations & More

    Putzmeister equipment has been involved with such projects as the Green Bay Packers’ Lambeau Field, the Hoover Dam bypass, the Goldman Sachs Tower in New Jersey, and the 9/11 Memorial & Monument in New York City. Karl Schlecht founded the company (then called “KS-Maschinenbau”) in 1958 in Germany and adopted the name Putzmeister (or “plaster master”) in 1963. The company delivered its one-thousandth concrete pump in 1971, and in 1977, it set the first of many world records to come for high-rise concrete pumping, reaching 1,017 feet (310 meters) at the Post Office Tower in Frankfurt. In 1982, Putzmeister acquired Thomsen, maker of Thom-Katt trailer pumps, Tommy Gun plastering machines, and other products, and in 1993, the Putzmeister America division opened in Sturtevant, Wisconsin.
